• To enhance the development and education of children under school age, in a parent-involving, community based group.
• To provide a safe, secure and stimulating environment, where children are able to learn through play.

THE ROLE OF PARENTS AND CARERS

Parents are the most important educators of their children. Our Pre-school aims to support parents. Parents are encouraged to:

• work in the group with children
• bring skills and ideas to the group
• assist with fund-raising
• take part in the management of the pre-school
• attend training courses, workshops and conferences organised by the pre-school Learning Alliance
• help on the parent-helper rota
